Donation (July, 2016)

In partnership with Books for Africa for the month of July, 2016, we donated books to the Adamawa region of Cameroon. The goal of this project was to increase the quality of education and literacy rates in the region. The rural Adamawa suffers from a severe book drought and many view access to books as a privilege of the wealthy.  The majority of the population lives in poverty and struggle to cover schools fees required for their children to attend classes. Donation (June, 2016)

In partnership with Books for Africa for the month of June, 2016, we have decided to gather all of our resources and donations to contribute to one special village. The goal of this project is to raise a total of $15,000 for the Mbitini village in Kenya. Mbitini is in a remote mountainous area of Kenya, seemingly outside the reach of most other charitable organizations. The village of approximately 5,000 is a four hour drive south of Nairobi and is about a one hour drive from the closest highway and small town, Sultan Hamud. Access is limited in the rainy season and subsistence agriculture is the primary activity. Read our entire report…
